Independent Infrastrucure Audit
Why should our company have an audit done?
An IT audit is the industry best practice to ensure that systems are robust and sound;it is like a health check for your systems (read our case study). The audit can cover your entire IT infrastructure or a single element; it can look at both the technical implementation and the alignment with business strategy. Different clients gain different benefits. An audit can:
• fine tune the performance of your systems which means increased productivity for you
• deal with known problems which irritate staff and prevents them from doing their job properly
• identify hidden issues before they escalate into costly issues An audit is suitable for both business that outsource their IT function and those with internal arrangements.
If you are looking for a new IT service provider, it is also a good way of assessing our technical and customer service skills without any obligation.
The goals of the audit are to: » make recommendations on how to solve problems
• improve efficiency
• reduce security risks
• plan for future needs
• assess the level of usability
How does an audit work?
The audit starts with an information gathering phase during which we examine the controls within your network. You get immediate feedback on the findings and an opportunity to ask questions. We will prioritise the issues that need attention into a Red, Amber and Green system. If we need to do some additional research, we will contact you as soon as possible thereafter with further information.
Can I have a free audit?
Network audits are free for members of the Gibraltar Federation of Small Business (up to 2 hours) and clients taking out a support contract. You get to benefit from the experience and knowledge of senior personnel without making any financial or contractual commitments. You also get to ask questions and discuss concerns without having to pay for the privilege.
